PV United presents our first Summer Skills training soccer camps to promote the game and advance the skills of children playing soccer. Including Goalie Training. These high quality camps are customized for players of ages 2010-2005 (7-12 years old) of all skill levels, and emphasize fun and learning. Our mission is to provide athletes with the tools to improve and enjoy a sport for life.


Pajaro Valley UNITED - SKILLS CAMP - Cancelled

Camp Director: Carlos Volpini
Carlos has over 25 years of player development, he is a former professional soccer player and coach from Argentina, currently he is the Skill and Tactics coach at Hartnell College and Director of Player Development for PV United. Carlos' ultimate goal is to challenge the young players to become creative, confident players who can handle a soccer ball in any situation during the game.

Camp Staff:

Gladys Mondragon
Gladys has coached Youth girls for PV United for the past 10 years. She is the Head coach for Watsonville High School girls soccer program and is the Head coach for the Women's Cabrillo College Soccer team.

Rafael Ruiz
Rafael is the President of PV United for the past 10 years and has coached Youth boys. He is the Assistant coach for Watsonville High School girls soccer program.

Laura Diaz
Laura started playing soccer at 12 years old for a local Watsonville team called Aztecas and continues to play. In 2007 Laura was began coaching for Pajaro Valley Youth Soccer Club (PVYSC) and coached PV United Competitive GU18 team.  Since then Laura has been coaching with the PV United, boys and girls of various ages and skill levels.  Laura is currently also the Cabrillo College Women’s Assistant Coach, the Watsonville High School Girls Varsity Assistant Coach and the PV United 05G head coach. Laura holds a National D CYSA Coaching License and NSCAA Advanced National Diploma and specializes in preparing players for competition both physically and mentally.  Develop players to play their best both individually and as a team. Identify coachable moments and be able to develop practices based on team needs.
